Seattle Kraken to Face Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center

As the Seattle Kraken prepare to face off against the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Kraken's recent performance has been a rollercoaster, but there's reason to believe they could sail into St. Paul and emerge victorious.

In their last game on November 2 against the Calgary Flames, the Kraken showcased an impressive offensive display, netting 5 goals on 26 shots for a shooting percentage of 19 percent. Despite giving away more faceoffs than they won and accruing a minus-1 in plus/minus rating, their tenacity was evident as they took home a win with a final score of 5-4.

The team's strength lies in its even-strength play where they scored three goals out of five total. However, special teams need attention; their powerplay conversion rate stood at just one goal from four opportunities despite having six shots during those chances. The penalty kill was more effective though, notching up one goal on two shots while shorthanded.

Defensively speaking, SEA showed resilience by blocking 19 shots and delivering 18 hits throughout the game. Goaltending also played a crucial role as their goalie saved 36 out of 40 shots – an admirable save percentage of around 90 percent.

Comparatively speaking, when looking at SEA’s performance against Pittsburgh Penguins on October 30th where they secured another win (3-1), it is clear that consistency in defense has been key for them; recording similar hit counts and blocked shot numbers while maintaining strong goaltending stats.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for SEA recently; facing Vancouver Canucks on October 28th proved challenging as they lost by one point (5-4). This game highlighted some areas for improvement such as goaltending which had only around a save percentage of roughly around just over half compared to other games which were closer to or above ninety percent.

The upcoming match-up poses challenges but also presents opportunities for SEA to capitalize upon. The Wild have had their own set of ups and downs this season but will be looking to defend home ice fiercely.

Fans should expect an intense battle where both teams will be eager to assert dominance early on. For SEA supporters hoping for victory – keep an eye out for how well the team can leverage its even-strength play while tightening up any loose ends in special teams' performance that have shown vulnerability in past games.

The clash between Seattle Kraken and Minnesota Wild is scheduled for November fourth at eight PM Eastern Time (7 PM local time) at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN. Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+, ROOT Sports NW channel number six hundred eighty-seven if following from away or BSN/BSWI channels six hundred sixty-eight/six hundred sixty-nine respectively if tuning in from home territory.
