Overtime Heartbreak for Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena Against St. Louis Blues

In a closely contested National Hockey League game at Climate Pledge Arena, the Seattle Kraken faced off against the St. Louis Blues in what would become an overtime affair. The Kraken, playing in front of a home crowd of 17,151 attendees, entered the match with a record of 3-4-0 and left with one more to add to their loss column after an intense battle that ended 4-3 in favor of the visiting Blues.

The game started with both teams demonstrating strong offensive efforts. The Blues managed to take an early lead by scoring three goals in the first period while the Kraken responded with one goal during that same period. As play continued into the second period, Seattle's determination was evident as they scored two additional goals, bringing them level with St. Louis at three goals apiece.

Throughout regulation time, both teams had numerous opportunities to clinch victory; however, it was during overtime that the decisive moment occurred when St. Louis netted their fourth and winning goal. Despite this setback for Seattle fans and players alike, there were notable performances from members of the Kraken squad who contributed six assists on their three goals and made 17 hits throughout the game.

The goaltending on both sides saw plenty of action as well; Seattle's goalie saved 24 out of 28 shots faced for a save percentage rounded to 86 percent while his counterpart from St. Louis made 32 saves from 35 shots for a save percentage rounded to 91 percent.

Seattle's powerplay unit had limited opportunities compared to their opponents', having only one chance throughout the entire game which they were unable to capitalize on despite winning all faceoffs during powerplays.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought match-up against St. Louis Blues where they fell just short in overtime despite putting up a resilient fight throughout all periods including extra time – fans can catch The Seattle Kraken back in action as they travel away from home soil towards Denver where they will meet Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena on October 21st at around eight o'clock Eastern Time (ET). This upcoming encounter will be available for viewing across various networks including ESPN+ online and ROOT Sports NW channel number six hundred eighty-seven among others ensuring supporters won't miss any live-action regardless of location.
