From the initial puck drop, the Kraken showcased their offensive capabilities by netting two goals in the first period and maintaining that momentum with another pair in the second. They continued their scoring spree with two additional goals in the third period, rounding off a six-goal onslaught. The team's shooting accuracy was on full display as they converted 21 percent of their shots into goals.

The Blackhawks managed to find the back of the net once during both the first and third periods but struggled to keep up with their opponent's pace. Their powerplay unit did capitalize on one of three opportunities, contributing one goal to their tally. However, they were outmatched by Seattle's even-strength play where all six Kraken goals were scored.

Seattle's goaltender had an impressive night between the pipes, saving 32 out of 34 shots for a save percentage rounding up to an impeccable 100 percent. This defensive stalwartness was crucial as it provided stability allowing for aggressive offensive plays.

On offense, ten different players contributed assists for Seattle while six distinct scorers found themselves on target throughout various stages of play. This distribution highlights not only individual skill but also cohesive teamwork leading to a robust total points count of 16 for Seattle compared to Chicago’s six.

Despite being hit fewer times than their opponents – seven hits compared to sixteen – it was clear that physicality took a backseat to finesse and execution for Seattle throughout this contest.
