Climate Pledge Arena Sets the Stage for Seattle Kraken vs Columbus Blue Jackets Showdown

As the Seattle Kraken prepare to host the Columbus Blue Jackets at Climate Pledge Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can continue its recent form. The Kraken have shown a strong performance in their past few games, with two wins and an overtime loss in their last three outings.

In their most recent game against the Anaheim Ducks, the Kraken secured a 3-2 victory. Their offensive play was solid with a shooting percentage of 14 percent and they capitalized on powerplay opportunities by scoring once out of one chance. Defensively, they were robust as well, blocking 12 shots and winning 37 percent of faceoffs.

The game before that saw another win for Seattle against the Los Angeles Kings with a scoreline of 2-1. The goaltending was particularly impressive; saving 42 out of 43 shots – an outstanding save percentage of nearly 98 percent. However, faceoff wins were still an area needing improvement at around 38 percent.

Looking further back at their match against the Dallas Stars, despite putting up a good fight and taking it to overtime, they ultimately fell short with a scoreline of 3-4. They managed to block an equal number of shots as in their previous game but struggled more on faceoffs with only about a 43 percent win rate.

The upcoming match presents another opportunity for Seattle to showcase its resilience and ability to bounce back from setbacks while also addressing areas like faceoff effectiveness which seems consistently lower than desired.
