In their last encounter with the Anaheim Ducks on December 24, 2023, SEA showcased resilience and strategic play. Despite being outshot 22 to 34 and losing faceoffs by a significant margin (winning only 38 percent), they managed to secure a win with three goals scored and an impressive save percentage of 100 percent from their goaltender who saved all 32 shots faced. This victory was not just about scoring but also about strong defense, as evidenced by blocking 12 shots and taking away the puck from opponents on eleven occasions.

The defensive prowess of SEA was further highlighted in their game against the Los Angeles Kings on December 21, where they emerged victorious despite being shorthanded. They managed two goals from thirty shots while facing a barrage of forty-three shots against them. Once again, goaltending was paramount with an astounding forty-two saves contributing to another win for SEA.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for SEA; they faced a setback against the Dallas Stars on December 19 when they lost in overtime despite scoring three goals during regulation time. Their shooting percentage stood at eight percent that night – lower than usual – but still indicative of an offense that knows how to find the back of the net.

Looking ahead at PHI's home advantage and considering that SEA has been playing well defensively while also capitalizing on scoring opportunities even when outshot or losing faceoff battles suggests that this upcoming game will be closely contested. The Flyers should not underestimate SEA's ability to withstand pressure and seize moments that change games' outcomes.

SEA fans should expect another gritty performance characterized by solid goaltending and opportunistic scoring as seen in previous games. While there is always room for improvement – particularly in faceoff wins – there is no doubt that this team has shown it can rise above statistics that typically spell defeat for others.

The scheduled clash between Seattle Kraken and Philadelphia Flyers is set for February 11th at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. Fans won't want to miss what promises to be an exciting matchup which can be watched live via ESPN+ or Hulu starting at midnight Eastern Time (ET).
