Kraken Seek to Hook the Predators in Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena Showdown

As the Seattle Kraken prepare to host the Nashville Predators at Climate Pledge Arena, fans can anticipate an exciting matchup. The Kraken have been showing a promising trend in their recent games, with two wins and one loss. Their performance has been characterized by strong defensive play and opportunistic scoring.

In their last game against the Winnipeg Jets, the Kraken secured a victory with a final score of 4-3. They demonstrated resilience by scoring twice in the third period and showcased their ability to capitalize on shorthanded situations, netting one goal while down a player. The team's shooting percentage was an impressive 17 percent, indicating efficient offensive production.

The previous game saw another win for Seattle against the Calgary Flames with a score of 4-2. The Kraken were disciplined throughout this match, taking advantage of powerplay opportunities despite not converting them into goals. However, they did manage to score once while shorthanded again and maintained a solid shooting percentage of 13 percent.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing as they faced defeat at home against the Edmonton Oilers earlier in March. Despite outshooting their opponents 25-24 and winning more faceoffs (56 percent), they could only muster one goal from those attempts for a meager shooting percentage of 4 percent.

Looking ahead to their encounter with Nashville Predators, maintaining strong goaltending will be crucial for Seattle as well as continuing to exploit shorthanded scenarios which seem to be an emerging strength for them.
