Kraken Prepares to Hook Ducks in a Battle on the Ice at Climate Pledge Arena

As the Seattle Kraken prepare to host the Anaheim Ducks at Climate Pledge Arena, fans are eager for what promises to be an enthralling encounter. The Kraken's recent form has been a mixed bag, but there's every reason to believe they can turn the tide in their favor.

In their last outing against the Nashville Predators on March 17th, Seattle fell short despite a valiant effort. The final scoreline read 4-1 in favor of Nashville, with Seattle's lone goal coming late in the third period. The team showed resilience and managed 33 hits throughout the game, indicating a physical presence that could unsettle any opponent.

Seattle's goaltending was solid with 26 saves and a save percentage rounding up to 100 percent; however, it wasn't enough to secure victory. On offense, they struggled with only one goal from 24 shots – translating into a mere four percent shooting success rate. This is an area where improvement is crucial if they hope to outscore Anaheim.

The powerplay opportunities were limited for SEA as well; they converted one out of two chances against Nashville. To succeed against ANA, capitalizing on these moments will be key.

Looking back further at their performance against Washington Capitals on March 15th and Vegas Golden Knights on March 13th provides additional insights into SEA’s capabilities and areas needing attention. Against Washington, once again their defense stood strong with another near-perfect save percentage but offensively only managed one goal from 24 shots – mirroring their struggle against Nashville.

Against Vegas though, there was an offensive spark as SEA netted four goals from an equal number of shots (30) as compared to their games against Nashville and Washington. Despite this surge leading them into overtime, it ended in heartbreak as Vegas clinched it with an overtime goal making it five goals to four.

The upcoming game presents another opportunity for SEA’s offense to find consistency while maintaining their robust defensive play which has seen high save percentages consistently across games despite losses.

Fans should expect SEA’s players hitting hard and defending stoutly while looking for more efficiency upfront converting shots into goals especially during powerplays which could prove decisive given how tight these games have been recently.

The scheduled face-off between Seattle Kraken and Anaheim Ducks is set for March 29th at Climate Pledge Arena – puck drops at precisely nine o'clock Pacific Time (PT). Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ via internet streaming or tune into BSSC/BSSD or ROOT Sports NW for television coverage.
