Kraken's Key Performances


The Seattle Kraken showcased resilience and strategic gameplay, leading to their triumph. Notably, Brandon Tanev emerged as a significant contributor with two goals on six shots, demonstrating his critical role in the team's offense. Oliver Bjorkstrand also made his mark by scoring once from three attempts, further solidifying the Kraken's position. Jared McCann added to the tally with one goal, proving instrumental in pushing the game into overtime where the Kraken ultimately clinched their win.


On defense and between the pipes, Joey Daccord delivered an impressive performance with 21 saves out of 24 shots against him. His efforts were crucial in keeping the Golden Knights at bay and ensuring that Seattle remained competitive throughout regulation time and into overtime.

Golden Knights' Efforts


Despite falling short in overtime, Vegas showed strong play attributes that kept them competitive until the last moment. Their powerplay unit managed to convert one opportunity out of four chances which kept them in contention for much of the game. The goaltending for Vegas was also noteworthy with a total of 28 saves made against Seattle's aggressive offense.
