Game Highlights


The Kraken opened strong with goals in both the first and second periods, showcasing their offensive capabilities. The power play unit capitalized on one of their two opportunities to add to their tally. However, even strength play yielded one goal from 17 shots. On defense, Seattle's goaltender made an impressive 33 saves from 36 shots faced throughout the game but ultimately was credited with the loss.


On the other side of the ice, the Devils matched intensity with goals in each period leading to their victory. Their even-strength performance was notable as they scored all three goals during regular play from a total of 29 shots. Despite not converting on any powerplay opportunities from seven attempts, New Jersey's defensive efforts were bolstered by their goalie who saved 17 out of 19 shots.

Player Performances


Several players stood out for Seattle in this tightly contested matchup. Shane Wright found the back of net once off his only shot attempt while also facing challenges defensively as indicated by his minus-one rating for plus/minus. Eeli Tolvanen contributed an assist and led his team with seven hits showing his physical presence on ice despite also having a minus-one rating for plus/minus.


For New Jersey, Jesper Bratt was among the stars of the game contributing significantly without scoring but playing a crucial role in his team's offensive strategies.
