Kraken's Performance Highlights

The Kraken managed to keep the game competitive despite being outscored. They tallied a total of 25 shots on goal throughout the game but were only able to convert one into a scoring play during the second period. This lone goal was courtesy of Jared McCann, who showcased his accuracy by making his only shot of the game count. The team also demonstrated resilience on defense with Joey Daccord stopping 23 out of 25 shots faced, reflecting an impressive save percentage.

On special teams, Seattle struggled to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities. Despite having two chances with a man advantage and generating four shots during these moments, they failed to find the back of the net. Their penalty kill unit was not tested as they did not face any shorthanded situations due to disciplined play that avoided any penalties.

Golden Knights Secure Victory

The Golden Knights matched Seattle's shot count with 25 but were more efficient in converting their chances into goals. Both goals for Vegas came during even-strength play and were enough to secure victory despite not having any powerplay opportunities themselves.

Adin Hill played a crucial role for Vegas by making critical saves throughout the night and ending up with an identical save percentage as Daccord. The performance from William Karlsson and Brayden McNabb also stood out as they contributed significantly towards their team’s success on both ends of the ice.
