The game began with both teams displaying strong defensive plays. The Kraken managed to strike first, thanks to a goal from Vince Dunn. However, the Stars quickly responded with Tyler Seguin finding the back of the net, leveling the score by period's end.

Second Period

In this period, both teams struggled offensively as defenses tightened up. Despite several powerplay opportunities for Seattle, they were unable to capitalize on their chances. The Stars edged ahead when Roope Hintz scored his first goal of the night.

Throughout this encounter at Climate Pledge Arena, Joey Daccord made significant contributions between pipes for Seattle but ultimately could not prevent all three goals from slipping through his defense line.
