First Period

The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Oilers managed to break through first, scoring one goal. Despite having more shots on goal than their opponents, Seattle struggled to find the back of the net. Matty Beniers led his team with four shots but was unable to convert any into points.

Second Period

In the second period, Edmonton capitalized on powerplay opportunities and added two more goals to their tally. The Kraken's defense had difficulty containing Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Leon Draisaitl, who were instrumental in setting up plays for their team. Joey Daccord made several crucial saves for Seattle but couldn't prevent all attempts from finding their mark.
