First Period

The opening period saw both teams locked in a defensive battle, with neither side managing to find the back of the net. The Kraken's defense was particularly effective, limiting Anaheim's offensive opportunities and setting an early tone for what would be a physical encounter.

Second Period

As play resumed in the second period, Seattle began to assert themselves offensively. Matty Beniers played a crucial role by assisting on Freddy Gaudreau’s goal that put Seattle ahead. Despite being outshot by Anaheim during this period, Philipp Grubauer’s stellar goaltending kept the Ducks at bay until Mikael Granlund managed to equalize for Anaheim.

Third Period

The final period was where Seattle truly shone. Jordan Eberle emerged as a key figure for the Kraken, scoring twice and sealing his team's victory. His first goal came from an impressive powerplay opportunity that showcased his precision shooting skills. Eberle’s second goal was an empty-netter that ensured there would be no late comeback from Anaheim.

Philipp Grubauer was instrumental throughout the game with 40 saves and earned recognition as one of its standout performers alongside Eberle and Granlund from Anaheim.
