First Period

The opening period at Crypto.com Arena was a defensive showcase from both teams. Neither side managed to find the back of the net despite several attempts. The Kings had an edge in shots on goal with 37 compared to Seattle's 28 throughout the game, but Joey Daccord’s performance between the pipes for Seattle kept them scoreless in this segment.

Second Period

Seattle came alive in the second period, scoring all three of their goals within this frame. Eeli Tolvanen contributed significantly with two assists during this surge, showcasing his playmaking abilities. Ben Meyers and Jordan Eberle were instrumental as well; each found opportunities to capitalize on L.A.'s defensive lapses and put points on the board for Seattle.

Third Period

In response, Los Angeles attempted a comeback in the third period by netting two goals but fell short of equalizing before time ran out. Andrei Kuzmenko managed to get one past Daccord late into this final stretch but it wasn't enough to change their fate as they struggled against Seattle’s defense led by Adam Larsson and Jamie Oleksiak.

This game highlighted what went wrong for Seattle Kraken initially but also showcased how they turned things around effectively during that pivotal second period. Fans witnessed some key moments which will be remembered when discussing future matchups between these teams.
