First Period

The first period set an intense pace as both teams sought to establish dominance early on. The Bruins capitalized on their opportunities with two goals, putting pressure on Seattle from the start. Despite being outshot by Boston, Joey Daccord managed to make some crucial saves for the Kraken.

Second Period

Seattle responded in the second period with a powerplay goal from Eeli Tolvanen, assisted by Brandon Montour and Jared McCann. This narrowed Boston's lead and gave hope to Seattle fans that their team could turn things around. However, Charlie McAvoy of the B’s extended their lead once again with a well-executed play.

Unfortunately for Seattle fans hoping for a comeback victory, Mark Kastelic sealed it for Boston with an empty-netter late in regulation time.

Seattle struggled defensively throughout much of this matchup against an aggressive Bruin offense led by Jeremy Swayman’s stellar goaltending performance which included 26 saves overall—earning him recognition as one of three stars post-game alongside teammates McAvoy & Kastelic respectively.
