Can Seattle Kraken's Third Period Surge Against New Jersey Devils Be Their Winning Formula?

The Seattle Kraken emerged victorious against the New Jersey Devils with a 4-2 scoreline, improving their record to 23-19-9. The Devils, on the other hand, now stand at 27-23-2. The game took place at Climate Pledge Arena and was attended by a crowd of 17,151.

First Period


The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses without much success in scoring. Despite several attempts from both sides, neither team managed to find the back of the net. The Kraken's defense held strong against the Devs' offensive pushes.


Second Period


In the second period, Seattle finally broke through with a goal that energized their play. Jordan Eberle contributed significantly with an assist that set up this crucial goal for his team. However, New Jersey responded quickly and leveled the score before heading into the final period.

Third Period


The third period was where Seattle truly shined. Matty Beniers led an impressive offensive charge that resulted in three goals for his team during this segment of play. Berkly Catton also made his mark by scoring one of these pivotal goals which helped secure their win over New Jersey.


Joey Daccord played a key role as well; he made several critical saves throughout all periods but particularly stood out during this final stretch when pressure from opponents intensified considerably.
