First Period

The first period saw an explosive start from the Kraken, who managed to net three goals. Shane Wright was instrumental in this early lead, scoring two goals and showcasing his offensive prowess. Freddy Gaudreau also contributed significantly with two assists during this period, helping set up crucial plays that put Seattle ahead.

Second Period

The second period witnessed a shift in momentum as the L.A. Kings attempted to close the gap. They managed to score one goal during this segment of play through their powerplay opportunities but were unable to capitalize further due to strong defensive efforts by Seattle's goaltender Joey Daccord, who made several key saves.

Third Period

In the final period, both teams displayed intense competition on ice; however, it was Seattle who sealed their victory with another goal added by Adam Larsson. Despite multiple attempts from Los Angeles' Andrei Kuzmenko and his team trying hard for a comeback effort - including outshooting their opponents - they couldn't break through Daccord’s solid defense line again after scoring only once more earlier on powerplays.

Seattle's effective use of powerplays proved decisive throughout this encounter against L.A., as they converted two out of six opportunities into goals compared to just one successful conversion out of four chances for their rivals – highlighting how crucial special teams can be when determining outcomes like these ones here today!
