First Period

The game started with both teams displaying solid defensive strategies. The Kraken managed to get on the scoreboard first, thanks to Kaapo Kakko's precise shot that found its way past the Blues' goaltender. However, this early lead was short-lived as Dylan Holloway from St. Louis responded with an equalizer later in the period.

Second Period

As play resumed, it became evident that Seattle struggled to maintain their momentum from earlier in the game. The Blue Note capitalized on this by scoring two more goals during this period, one of which was assisted by Pius Suter who showcased his playmaking abilities.

Third Period

In a bid to turn things around, Seattle attempted several offensive plays but were unable to penetrate St. Louis' defense effectively enough for another goal. Meanwhile, Jonatan Berggren added two more goals for St. Louis during this period—one being an empty-netter—sealing their victory over Seattle.

Despite Philipp Grubauer’s efforts between pipes with 27 saves and maintaining a save percentage of 87 percent throughout regulation time; he couldn’t prevent all five goals scored against him due largely due defensive lapses from teammates like Jamie Oleksiak who ended up having minus-two rating after full-time whistle blew signaling end match proceedings altogether here tonight!
