St. Louis Blues Set to Host Winnipeg Jets at the Enterprise Center

As the St. Louis Blues prepare to welcome the Winnipeg Jets to the Enterprise Center, fans are eager for what promises to be an exciting matchup. The Blues have shown a dynamic offense in recent games, with a notable performance that included a seven-goal outburst against the New York Islanders. Despite this high-scoring game, their overall trend has been mixed.

In their last three games, the Blues have experienced both highs and lows. Their most recent game against the Islanders showcased their offensive prowess as they scored seven goals on 28 shots, translating into an impressive shooting percentage of 25 percent for that game. However, this was not indicative of consistent performance across these matches.

Defensively, there have been concerns as well; in two out of these three games, they allowed six goals against them – a statistic that will surely be on their minds as they face off against Winnipeg. The goaltending has also seen fluctuations with save percentages ranging from 75 percent up to 90 percent in these encounters.

Faceoff win percentages have been hovering around mid-range for St. Louis; however, it's worth noting that during their victory over New York Islanders they only won 41 percent of faceoffs which suggests that success at faceoff circle isn't necessarily indicative of overall game outcome for them.

Special teams will also play a crucial role in the upcoming contest with powerplay opportunities being something St. Louis will want to capitalize on more effectively than they have done recently – having converted only one goal from multiple chances in two separate games.

Fans can expect an energetic atmosphere at Enterprise Center as both teams vie for dominance on ice. With recent performances taken into account, it is clear that while St. Louis has shown potential for high scoring games and solid defensive plays when necessary; consistency remains key if they wish to secure victory over Winnipeg Jets.

The action unfolds on December 9th at Enterprise Center where fans can catch all live coverage through ESPN+, TSN3 or BSMW networks depending on location and preference starting from 1:00 AM UTC (7:00 PM local time).
