The St. Louis Blues faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers in an intense matchup at the Enterprise Center. Despite a valiant effort, the home side fell short as they were unable to match their opponent's offensive output. The Flyers' attack was relentless throughout the game, registering a total of 42 shots on goal and converting four into scores. Their shooting accuracy was evident with a ten percent shooting percentage and their strength was showcased by scoring all goals during even-strength play.

The Blues' performance saw them tallying two goals from thirty shots, reflecting a seven percent shooting success rate. They managed to block nineteen attempts from reaching their netminder but struggled in faceoff circles winning only forty percent compared to sixty percent by their opponents.

Philadelphia's goaltender played an instrumental role in securing this victory by saving twenty-eight out of thirty shots directed at him, effectively shutting down multiple scoring opportunities for St. Louis and maintaining a perfect save percentage during even-strength situations.

On special teams play, both squads had limited success; however, it was notable that while St. Louis capitalized once on powerplay opportunities out of three chances taken, Philadelphia did not convert any despite having two powerplays.

Defensively speaking, both teams were almost neck-and-neck with hits delivered – seventeen for St. Louis and sixteen for Philadelphia – showcasing physicality throughout the game without crossing lines into major penalties territory.

As fans look forward to future games hoping for better outcomes, they can mark their calendars for when the St. Louis Blues will take on Washington Capitals away from home turf at Capital One Arena on January 19th at midnight UTC time zone (7 PM Eastern Time). This upcoming encounter can be followed live through various broadcast networks including ESPN+ online nationally or BSMW channel 671 catering to away fans looking to cheer on their team remotely.
