The Blues have shown a remarkable ability to find the back of the net, as evidenced by their last home game against the Chicago Blackhawks where they scored seven goals. Their offensive prowess was on full display with a shooting percentage of seventeen percent and a power play that capitalized twice out of four opportunities—an impressive eighty-nine percent efficiency on faceoffs during man-advantage situations.

Defensively, while there were some lapses that allowed five goals against, it's worth noting that they won sixty percent of faceoffs overall and blocked twelve shots throughout the game. This resilience helped them secure a victory despite being out-hit by more than double.

On special teams, St. Louis has been formidable; they've managed to score power play goals consistently and have maintained strong penalty killing when down a man.

However, it's not all smooth sailing for the Blues; in an away game against Tampa Bay Lightning before facing Chicago, they suffered from discipline issues with five penalties leading to thirteen penalty minutes and faced challenges in maintaining puck possession as reflected by their forty-two percent faceoff win rate.

The upcoming match will test whether St. Louis can maintain its offensive momentum while tightening up defensively and staying disciplined on penalties—key factors that could determine whether they come out on top against Nashville.

Fans can catch all the action live from Enterprise Center or tune into ESPN+ nationally or BSMW locally for television coverage on February 17th at 5:00 PM local time (22:00 UTC).
