Will the St. Louis Blues Continue Their Winning Momentum Against Seattle Kraken?

As the St. Louis Blues gear up to face the Seattle Kraken, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The upcoming game at Enterprise Center promises to be a thrilling encounter, especially considering the Blues' recent performance.

In their last game on April 2nd against the Edmonton Oilers, the Blues showcased resilience and tactical prowess, clinching a victory in overtime with a final score of 3-2. Despite being outshot 38 to 29, they managed an impressive shooting percentage of 10 percent compared to Oilers' mere 5 percent. The goaltending was exceptional as well, with a save percentage standing at an impeccable 100 percent.

The powerplay opportunities were capitalized upon by the Blues; they scored once out of four chances which could be crucial against Kraken's defense. Faceoffs were another area where STL dominated with a win percentage of 56 percent – an aspect that might again tilt the scales in their favor.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for STL in recent matchups. On March 31st against San Jose Sharks, they faced a tough defeat without scoring any goals despite taking more shots than their opponents – highlighting an area for improvement before facing SEA.

Against Calgary Flames on March 29th though, STL bounced back emphatically with a commanding win and an impressive shooting accuracy rate of 26 percent while netting five goals from just nineteen shots – demonstrating their ability to convert chances effectively.

SEA should not be underestimated either; they will come prepared and determined to challenge STL's winning streak at home ice. The Kraken's performance has been inconsistent but can surprise any team on their day.

Looking ahead to April 14th when these two teams collide at Enterprise Center in St. Louis – it is expected that STL will leverage its strong powerplay and faceoff strategies while hoping for continued stellar goaltending performances.

Blues fans can catch this exciting matchup live on TNT or stream it via Max internet services starting at noon CT time zone on Saturday afternoon.
