In their most recent match against the Edmonton Oilers, the Blues emerged victorious with a 3-2 win after an intense overtime battle. Their performance was marked by a strong powerplay, converting one out of four opportunities and demonstrating solid goaltending with a save percentage of 100 percent. The team's faceoff win rate stood at an impressive 56 percent, indicating good control over puck possession.

However, just prior to this victory, they faced a tough loss against the San Jose Sharks with a scoreless game ending in 0-4. Despite outshooting the Sharks with 35 attempts on goal compared to San Jose's 20 shots, they were unable to capitalize on these opportunities. The silver lining from this defeat was their faceoff success rate which remained high at 61 percent.

Looking further back at another home game versus the Calgary Flames, St. Louis showcased offensive prowess by netting five goals from just 19 shots – an exceptional shooting percentage of 26 percent – leading them to a comfortable win with five points over Calgary's three.

The upcoming game presents another opportunity for St. Louis Blues players to shine and perhaps improve upon their powerplay efficiency and overall scoring consistency which has fluctuated recently.
