St. Louis Blues Ice Seattle Kraken with Late Surge at Enterprise Center

The St. Louis Blues, with a record of 45-28, faced off against the Seattle Kraken, who came into the game with a 30-43 tally. The final score read 4-1 in favor of the home team, as the Blues added another victory to their impressive season performance.

The game at Enterprise Center was a display of resilience and tactical execution by the St. Louis Blues. The first period saw both teams net one goal each, setting up an evenly matched contest. However, it was in the third period that the Blues truly shone, scoring three unanswered goals to secure their win.

The offensive effort by the Blues was led by their ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities; they finished with four goals on 28 shots for a shooting percentage of 14 percent. Their faceoff performance was also notable as they won 29 out of 50 faceoffs taken during the game.

Defensively, St. Louis stood strong throughout all three periods. The goaltending for the Blues was particularly effective; saving 19 out of 20 shots faced and maintaining a save percentage that rounded up to an impeccable hundred percent over sixty minutes on ice.

On special teams play, while neither team managed to score on powerplay opportunities—with both teams having one chance each—the discipline and penalty kill units were successful in negating any advantage that could have been gained from these situations.

In contrast to their opponents' success in front of goal and defensive solidity, Seattle Kraken struggled to find their rhythm after opening their account early in the match. They managed only one goal from twenty shots—a five percent shooting accuracy—and were less dominant in faceoffs winning just twenty-one out of fifty attempts.

Seattle's defense blocked more attempts than St. Louis did but ultimately conceded four times including once into an empty net when trying desperately to equalize late in the game which pushed them further behind instead.

As fans look ahead following this commanding performance by their team at home ice, they can mark calendars for when St. Louis Blues will take on Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center located in Dallas TX USA (zip code:75219). This upcoming encounter is scheduled for April 18th starting at 8:30 PM Central Time Zone and will be broadcasted live on TNT TV network as well as streamed via Max Internet service ensuring fans won't miss any action regardless where they are.
