The home team opened the scoring in the first period but couldn't maintain their lead as Utah responded with equal vigor, ending the first period tied at 1-1. Player Performances


Pavel Buchnevich stood out for his playmaking abilities by assisting two goals despite St. Louis' overall struggle against Utah's defense. His efforts were not enough to secure a win but highlighted his importance to his team's offensive strategies.


On defense, Nathan Walker led with six hits and one takeaway, demonstrating physicality and effort that kept St. Louis competitive throughout periods of pressure from Utah Hockey Club.
