On the other side, despite putting up a strong fight and managing to block 13 shots while taking 23 attempts on goal themselves, the Winnipeg Jets were only able to convert one opportunity into a goal during the third period. For Winnipeg Jets despite falling short had some moments worth noting; they remained competitive through most parts but couldn’t capitalize on power play opportunities which could have changed game dynamics significantly.
