Robert Thomas and Philip Broberg each added an assist to their season tallies demonstrating their ability to contribute offensively beyond just scoring goals themselves. Their assists were crucial in setting up Buchnevich's second-period goal that momentarily brought hope to St Louis fans watching eagerly for a comeback that ultimately fell short.
