Overtime

As overtime commenced, both teams fought hard for control but it was ultimately Adrian Kempe again who secured victory for L.A., scoring his second goal of the night and sealing a 2-1 win over St. Louis in overtime.

Despite their efforts and strong defense led by Colton Parayko and Cam Fowler throughout regulation time, it was not enough to fend off Kempe’s decisive playmaking abilities which earned him recognition as one of three stars alongside Darcy Kuemper’s stellar goaltending performance for L.A., stopping 17 shots against him.
