Third Period


The third period saw no change in score as both defenses tightened up significantly. Jordan Binnington's performance between the pipes was commendable as he made crucial saves under pressure from Toronto's forwards like William Nylander and John Tavares.


Overtime


With regulation time unable to separate these two determined sides, overtime was needed where ultimately it was William Nylander who emerged as hero for his team by scoring decisive winning goal for Buds during extra time.
