Second Period

St. Louis scored three goals in this period alone while holding Ottawa to just one additional goal from Shane Pinto, who was notable for his efforts on behalf of Ottawa.

Despite being outshot by Ottawa's 28 attempts compared to their own 31 shots on goal, St. Louis capitalized on key opportunities and maintained composure under pressure during critical moments of play.
