Second Period


In a spirited attempt to bounce back, the Blues managed to score twice in this period. Robert Thomas was instrumental in breaking through with his goal, showcasing his shooting accuracy with a 25 percent success rate from his four shots on target. However, Nashville responded fiercely by netting four goals of their own, extending their lead significantly.


Third Period


The final period saw both teams tightening up defensively; however, it was too late for St. Louis as they failed to add any more points to their tally. The Preds sealed their victory with an additional goal in this segment of play.
