In an attempt to mount a comeback, St. Louis managed another goal courtesy of Dvorsky again finding his mark; however, it wasn't enough as Nashville sealed their victory with one more goal late into regulation time. Joel Hofer made several crucial saves throughout but couldn't stop all shots faced due largely due defensive lapses that allowed too many high-quality chances against him.
