First Period


The game kicked off with both teams showing strong defensive play, but it was Alexey Toropchenko who broke through for the Blues, scoring their first goal of the match. The Blue Note's defense held firm against Vegas' attempts to equalize, ending the period with a narrow lead.


Second Period


In an action-packed second period, Oskar Sundqvist added another goal for St. Louis, showcasing his offensive prowess alongside Toropchenko's earlier efforts. Brayden Schenn also found the back of the net for the Blues during this period. Despite a goal from Vegas' side that narrowed their deficit, St. Louis maintained control and ended this segment ahead.

Third Period


As tension mounted in the third period, both teams exchanged goals once more; however, it was Joel Hofer's goaltending that made a significant difference for St. Louis by saving 21 shots throughout the game and keeping Vegas at bay when it mattered most.
