First Period

The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses with calculated plays. The Blues managed to find the back of the net once, showcasing their ability to capitalize on even-strength opportunities. However, it was Chicago who took an early lead with a goal of their own.

Second Period

As play resumed in the second period, things took a turn for St. Louis as they struggled defensively against an aggressive Blackhawks offense that netted four goals during this segment alone. Despite efforts from players like Brayden Schenn and Jordan Kyrou trying hard to create scoring chances for their team through assists and shots respectively - it wasn't enough compared to what Chicago brought onto ice tonight.
