First Period


The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses without any goals scored. The Blues managed to keep up with the Hurricanes' offensive pressure, thanks to their solid defensive play and goaltending by Joel Hofer.


Second Period


In the second period, the Blue Note found their rhythm and broke through Carolina's defense. Third Period


As they entered the final period, both teams were determined to control possession and create scoring opportunities. However, it was Joel Hofer’s exceptional performance between the pipes that stole the show for St. Louis; he recorded an impressive shutout against Carolina's relentless attack.
