Despite putting up an equal number of shots on goal (30), their shooting percentage languished at 7 percent compared to Florida's staggering 30 percent. This disparity was a clear indicator that TB needs to sharpen its offensive execution.

Conversely, when looking at TB's performance against the Colorado Avalanche on February 16th, we saw what this team is capable of when firing on all cylinders. They notched an impressive win with a shooting percentage of 15 percent and dominated faceoffs with a win percentage of 57 percent – factors that contributed significantly to their victory.

In this tightly contested match-up which went into shootout overtime after ending regular play tied at points each team scoring two goals apiece during regulation time – it was Tampa Bay who emerged victorious thanks largely due their goaltender’s stellar performance saving all three shots faced during shootout while also maintaining save rate throughout entire game.

The key takeaway for Lightning fans is consistency; if they can maintain high levels energy and precision seen during wins like one over Avalanche then there’s no doubt they will be formidable opponent for any team including Buffalo Sabres come March first matchup.
