The Lightning showcased an impressive offensive performance at Amerant Bank Arena. The team's powerplay strength was evident as they capitalized on one of their seven opportunities to score with the man advantage. The powerplay goal came during a critical 5v3 situation and was one of five goals scored by Tampa Bay throughout the night. Their shooting accuracy was remarkable, with a shooting percentage of 31 percent from just 16 shots.

Defensively, Tampa Bay's goaltender played an integral role in securing the win by saving all but three of the whopping 50 shots he faced from Panthers' skaters. This stellar performance between the pipes contributed to his team's victory and highlighted his importance to Tampa Bay's defensive unit.

On special teams, aside from scoring on powerplay, Tampa Bay also stood strong while shorthanded, successfully killing off penalties without conceding any goals during those times. They were disciplined throughout and managed to limit giveaways to just fifteen while taking away possession twice from their opponents.

The Panthers put up a valiant effort as well; they were particularly aggressive on their own powerplays but only managed to convert one out of seven chances into goals despite firing nineteen shots during those moments. They also scored once while shorthanded and once at even strength but ultimately fell short against a determined Lightning squad.

With this victory under their belt, fans can look forward to seeing if Tampa Bay can carry this momentum into their next game when they visit T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for an encounter with Vegas Golden Knights. Scheduled for March 20th at 7:00 PM PT (short time zone abbreviation), supporters will be able to catch all the action live through various broadcast networks including ESPN+ online or BSSUN and SCRIPPS on TV.
