On defense, goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy made an impressive 20 saves out of 23 shots faced throughout the game. His efforts kept the Lightning within striking distance until the very end but ultimately were not enough to secure a win.


The St. Louis Blues matched up well against Tampa Bay's intensity and managed to edge out with three goals scored on equal shots (23). Jordan Kyrou was particularly notable for his performance earning him one of the star positions of the game alongside goaltender Jordan Binnington who saved 21 out of 23 shots.
