Notably for Tampa Bay was Emil Lilleberg's contribution with an assist that played a part in securing their only goal of the night. Additionally, Nick Perbix displayed defensive prowess by blocking two shots and contributing one takeaway over his time on ice.


On Philadelphia's side, goaltender Ivan Fedotov emerged as one of their key players by stopping all but one of Tampa Bay’s attempts at goal during regulation time and overtime before standing tall in the shootout phase.
