Despite a late push from New Jersey with two goals of their own, it wasn't enough to overcome Tampa's commanding performance.

Goaltender Jonas Johansson stood tall for Tampa Bay with 33 saves out of 37 shots faced, providing stability between the pipes despite some defensive lapses that allowed four goals against.

For New Jersey, despite being outplayed for much of the game, they showed resilience by scoring once in each period but ultimately couldn't match up against Tampa’s firepower.

As fans reflect on what went wrong for Tampa Bay Lightning defensively allowing four goals might be an area for improvement moving forward into future games.
