Third Period


As the game progressed into its final period, neither team could find success offensively until late when Carolina sealed their victory with an additional goal. Despite several attempts from players like Jake Guentzel and Dominic James for Tampa Bay, they couldn't break through Carolina’s defense in these crucial moments.


The goaltending battle was fierce throughout; Jonas Johansson made 28 saves for the Bolts but faced relentless pressure from Carolina’s forwards including standout performances by Logan Stankoven and Taylor Hall who were pivotal for the Canes' win.
