Will the Maple Leafs Glide Past the Coyotes at Scotiabank Arena?

Looking back at their last game against St. Louis Blues on February 19th, Toronto showcased a solid performance, securing a win with 4 goals and demonstrating defensive prowess by limiting the Blues to just 2 points. The goaltending was impeccable, boasting a save percentage of 100 percent against 21 shots. This level of play is indicative of a team that's not only in sync but also one that has its sights set firmly on victory.

The offensive statistics from this game further bolster confidence in Toronto's capabilities; they managed an impressive shooting percentage of 14 percent and were particularly effective during power plays, scoring once out of two opportunities. Their faceoff win percentage stood strong at 52 percent, which could be crucial in controlling the puck against Arizona.

In contrast, when examining their performance against Anaheim Ducks on February 18th, it was nothing short of spectacular – a resounding triumph with an overwhelming scoreline favoring Toronto by nine points to two. The offensive firepower was evident as they achieved a shooting percentage of nearly triple that against St. Louis – an astonishing figure which will surely have the Coyotes' defense worried.

Moreover, special teams played a significant role; capitalizing four times out of five powerplay chances shows both clinical efficiency and strategic superiority – elements that could again prove decisive in their next encounter.

However, it would be remiss not to consider how well-rounded this team has been playing across all facets; even when pushed into overtime by Philadelphia Flyers on February 16th, Toronto emerged victorious thanks to their resilience and tactical acumen which saw them through after conceding early in the game.

The Maple Leafs have been hitting hard too – registering substantial hits across these games while maintaining discipline as evidenced by relatively few penalty minutes given away. This physical yet controlled approach might unsettle Arizona who will need more than just grit to counteract such robustness combined with skillful playmaking from Toronto's side.

Arizona Coyotes should not be underestimated though; any NHL team can rise to occasion or capitalize on mistakes made by opponents regardless past performances or statistics suggest otherwise - hockey is unpredictable like that sometimes!

As we look ahead towards this clash between these two teams eager for success within league standings where every point counts more than ever before - fans can catch all action live ESPN+ nationally or SCRIPPS if following away from home territory come puck drop scheduled for March first sharp seven o'clock evening Eastern Time right here heart downtown city at Scotiabank Arena!
