First Period


The opening period saw the Leafs take an early lead with two goals. John Tavares was instrumental in setting the pace for Toronto, contributing significantly to their initial advantage. The Predators struggled to find their footing as they failed to score in this period.


Second Period


In the second period, both teams found their rhythm offensively. The Buds added another two goals to their tally while Nashville responded with two of their own. Third Period


The final period was dominated by Toronto as they netted three more goals. William Nylander showcased his skills by adding a goal and an assist, further extending the lead for his team. Despite a late surge from Nashville with two additional goals, it wasn't enough to overcome Toronto's commanding performance.


John Tavares emerged as a standout player for the Maple Leafs with one goal and two assists, earning him recognition among fans and analysts alike. His leadership on ice was pivotal in securing this win for his team.
