Third Period


Entering the third period, Toronto was determined to level up and did so through Auston Matthews' assist that led to another goal for Tavares. His performance continued to be instrumental as he contributed significantly on offense throughout this matchup.


Overtime


Despite their best efforts during regulation time, neither team could secure victory within three periods leading them into overtime where Shane Wright scored for Seattle clinching their win over Toronto.
