First Period

Third Period


In the final period, Toronto sealed their victory with two additional goals while allowing only one from Pittsburgh. Dennis Hildeby stood tall between the pipes for Toronto, making 33 saves and maintaining composure under pressure from a persistent Penguins offense that fired 35 shots throughout the game.
