In their last outing against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Canucks emerged victorious with a 4-3 win in overtime. Despite not scoring in periods two and three, they managed an overtime goal and displayed resilience throughout. Their shooting percentage stood at 14 percent while they won 48 percent of faceoffs. The goaltending was also commendable with a save percentage of 100 percent against 35 shots.

The game prior saw an even more dominant performance from Vancouver as they defeated the New York Islanders with a score of 5-2. They had an empty net goal contributing to their total and maintained a shooting percentage of 15 percent. Faceoff wins were lower than desired at only 42 percent but did not hinder their ability to control the game.

Their winning streak started impressively against the New York Rangers with a commanding scoreline of 6-3. A high shooting percentage of 23 percent was indicative of their offensive prowess that night, coupled with another perfect save percentage from their netminder who faced down an onslaught of 42 shots.

The upcoming match promises excitement as Vancouver looks to leverage its high-scoring forwards and steadfast goaltending once again. While faceoff percentages have been inconsistent across games, it has not significantly impacted overall performance thus far.

Fans can catch all the action on January 13th at KeyBank Center or tune into ESPN+ for internet streaming or MSG-B for local television coverage starting from nine o'clock Eastern Time (ET).
