On March 10, the Canucks displayed a dominant performance against the Winnipeg Jets, shutting them out with an impressive 5-0 victory. The team's offense was firing on all cylinders, with a total of 37 shots on goal and a shooting percentage of 14 percent. The power play contributed one goal from three opportunities, showcasing their efficiency in special teams play.

Defensively, the Canucks were just as formidable. They blocked nine shots and won 56 percent of faceoffs, giving them control over puck possession throughout the game. Goaltending was superb; not a single puck found its way past their netminder among the 22 shots faced.

This victory followed another strong showing against the Vegas Golden Knights on March 8 where they emerged victorious with a scoreline of 3-1. In that game too, Vancouver's power play unit capitalized by scoring one goal from three chances.

Even more telling was their performance in an overtime win against the Los Angeles Kings on March 6. The Canucks showed great tenacity by securing two points despite being pushed beyond regulation time. Their faceoff win percentage stood at an impressive 64 percent that night – an indicator of their ability to maintain puck control under pressure.

The upcoming clash with Calgary promises to be challenging but based on these recent outings; it seems clear that VAN has found its rhythm both offensively and defensively. While CGY will undoubtedly come prepared to battle it out for every inch on ice, they'll need more than preparation to break through Vancouver's solid defensive wall and high-performing goaltending.

As for predictions? If recent form is anything to go by – which includes winning crucial faceoffs and capitalizing on power plays – then fans can expect VAN to continue their winning ways when they meet CGY next week.

The scheduled game is set for March 24 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver at what would be local time (adjusting for timezone differences). Fans eager not to miss any action can catch live broadcasts via ESPN+ over internet streams.
