First Period


The opening period saw the Maple Leafs take an early lead with three goals. The Canucks struggled to find their rhythm despite having 20 shots on goal throughout even strength play. Elias Pettersson and Brock Boeser were active but couldn't convert their efforts into points.


Second Period


In the second period, the Nucks continued to battle but were unable to break through Joseph Woll's defense. The Buds extended their lead by adding another goal during this segment. Vancouver's powerplay opportunities went uncapitalized as they failed to score on six chances.

Third Period


As the third period unfolded, Toronto sealed their dominance with one more goal. Despite Kevin Lankinen's commendable performance in net, making 16 saves out of 18 shots against him in previous games, he couldn't stop all of Toronto’s advances this time around.
