In their last game on March 30th against the Minnesota Wild, VGK showcased a defensive masterclass with an impressive 100 percent save percentage from their goaltender who made 32 saves. The team's ability to block shots was evident as they tallied up 16 blocked shots while also managing to secure victory in overtime. This level of tenacity will be crucial when they go up against an Oilers team that is known for its offensive capabilities.

VGK's performance on March 29th against the Winnipeg Jets further highlighted their offensive strengths. They managed to net four goals from just 27 shots, boasting a shooting percentage of 15 percent which is significantly higher than league average. Their faceoff win percentage stood at a commendable 61 percent, indicating that VGK has been able to maintain control and dictate play when it matters most.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for VGK as evidenced by their game on March 27th versus the Nashville Predators where they suffered an overtime loss despite scoring four goals. This indicates that while VGK can be prolific in front of goal, there are vulnerabilities that need addressing if they are going to come out on top in future games.

The upcoming match-up will require VGK to leverage both their defensive solidity and offensive sharpness if they wish to overcome EDM who will undoubtedly put up a strong fight on home ice. The Oilers have shown themselves capable adversaries and will look to exploit any lapse in concentration from the visiting team.
