Game Highlights

The game was intense from start to finish. The Golden Knights opened the scoring in the first period and managed to find the back of the net once in each period, demonstrating their consistent offensive pressure. Their efforts were supported by an impressive performance from Ilya Samsonov who made 45 saves throughout the game. This high save count reflects Samsonov's critical role in keeping his team competitive against a barrage of shots from the Panthers.

On offense, Brett Howden stood out by scoring one goal on three shots, showcasing his efficiency and sharpshooting skills with a shooting percentage of thirty-three percent. Tanner Pearson also made significant contributions with one goal and one assist, proving to be crucial for his team's efforts to maintain pressure on their opponents.

Player Performances

Nicolas Roy emerged as another key player for Vegas by providing two assists during critical moments of play. His ability to set up goals was pivotal for keeping momentum on Vegas's side. Additionally, Keegan Kolesar demonstrated his knack for seizing opportunities by scoring once on his only shot attempt.

Despite these individual performances and maintaining even strength goals at three apiece with Florida Panthers', it was not enough to secure victory as they fell short in overtime where Florida clinched their winning goal.
